A Fan's Tribute to Sheri Moon Zombie

Sheri Moon Zombie is better known as Sheri Moon, which is her maiden name, but her real name is Sheri Skerkis. She was born September 26, 1970 in San Jose, California, but she grew up in Connecticut. She got her start as a public figure in her husband Rob Zombie's music videos and on the cover of the American Made Music to Strip By album.

I became aware of Sheri Moon when I watched House of 1000 Corpses, and I immediately fell in love with her. I'm not sure why the combination of beautiful blonde bimbo and sinister psychotic serial killer is such a powerful combination, but I was one fan who immediately ran to the internet looking for pictures and information about Sheri Moon Zombie.

Baby Firefly

One of the funnier parts of the House of 1000 Corpses film is Sheri Moon's performance as Baby Firefly. Her attempts to flirt with and seduce the male teenage protagonists are comical because the high-pitched sex kitten act fails miserably with the audience at the same time it fails with the characters in the movie. Baby Firefly is compelling and repulsive at the same time.

Her relationship with the evil clown Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) isn't revealed until the sequel, The Devil's Rejects, where you learn that Baby is the beloved daughter of Captain Spaulding. In the 2nd film, Sheri Moon looks even better as Baby Firefly, but she's also more sinister and controlling.

Her Rear End

Sheri Moon Zombie One aspect of both House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects that I enjoyed were the multiple shots of Sheri Moon's behind. Rob Zombie makes it very clear how fond of his wife's butt he is by providing multiple loving shots of it in varying states of dress and undress. I can't fault his taste; she certainly has a lovely hind end.

Coming Soon

Look for Sheri Moon Zombie to voice the female lead in Rob Zombie's new project, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, which is based on Zombie's comic book character. I'm sure as long as she's married to Rob Zombie, she'll have plenty of work.
