Rob Zombie Halloween Cast

Announcements regarding who's been cast in the upcoming Rob Zombie Halloween remake have been trickling out on the Internet periodically for the last few months, and at the time of this writing, the casting has almost been completed. For those who are interested, we've included casting information below:

Who's starring in the Rob Zombie Halloween remake?

Scout Taylor-Compton as Laurie Strode

I probably shouldn't list her first, since in this movie, Laurie is NOT the main character. But she's the most recently cast, and also one of the better looking women in the movie, so here she is.

Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Loomis

Scout Taylor-Compton - Laurie Strode - Halloween Loomis is being portrayed by Malcolm McDowell. I saw rumors that some other actors were being considered, including Ben Kingsley (my favorite choice) and Jeff Bridges (which would have been really bizarre.) I'm not a fan of Malcolm McDowell, but this is going to be one of those wait and see situations.

Tyler Mane as Michael Myers

According to the spoilers I've read so far, this is going to be a faster, more aggressive Michael Myers than we saw in the other movies. I don't think this is a bad thing at all really; the new, fast zombies in the Dawn of the Dead remake certainly didn't detract from the quality of that film.

William Forsythe as Ronnie White

This character is abusive toward the young Michael Myers. He's the boyfriend of Myers' mom, who will be played by Sherri Moon Zombie. (I'm all for Sherri Moon Zombie playing a stripper.)

Sherri Moon Zombie as Deborah Myers

See the notes above about Sherri Moon Zombie's character. I understand that she wears skimpy outifts throughout the movie. This is a move I'm strongly in favor of.

Danny Trejo as Ismael Cruz

Trejo plays a sympathetic orderly at the hospital.

Ken Foree as Big Joe Grizzly

A truck driver who encounters Michael.
